The Norwegian national team has arrived in Zambia ahead of Saturday’s international friendly which will save as a send off for the African champions as they shift base to Nelspruit for the 2013 Nations Cup group phase.
The 24th ranked team in the world according to the December Coca Cola / FIFA rankings touched down at 12:15hrs and was welcomed at the Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe international airport by FAZ president Kalusha Bwalya and some other FAZ committee members.
They are accommodated at Mukuba Hotel.
The Norway team is expected to train at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola at 17:00hrs today.
Zambia, on the other end, will arrive in the country at 17:40hrs and will train at the Levy stadium this evening.
Norway beat South Africa 1 – 0 on Tuesday in their first match on their African tour.
