Grade 12 Pass Rate Drops Under PF

The grade 12 passing rate has dropped ever since the Patriotic Front came into power.

According to the latest results for grade 12 pupils that sat for examinations last year, there is a 1.2 percent reduction in the passing rate compared to 2011 results.

Education minister John Phiri has announced that about 60,319 grade twelve pupils have obtained full certificates out of over 150,000 who sat for examinations in 2012.

Dr Phiri was also happy with the 61 percent passing rate in the newly created Province of Muchinga.
