Sata: Is This an Alarmist for President?

SATA 1It is risky enough for a country to have an alarmist for a leading opposition political party, but it becomes worse when the instruments of power are vest in an alarmist like Michael Sata. He is not only a danger unto himself or his family; he becomes a terror to his own people.

For the respect of the office he is holding, Michael, to borrow the language of his image panel beaters at The Post should either shut up or do more work. On Thursday, this dummy of a President went on a State House platform to make alarming statements.
Michael accused fourth Republican president Rupiah Banda, opposition leaders Dr Nevers Mumba (Movement for Multi-Party Democracy) and Hakainde Hichilema (United Party for National Development) of seeking criminal asylum.

Its either Michael has acute diarrhea of the mouth, which is developing into either dysentery or cholera, or his admiration for suicide bombers is now manifesting. This man seems ready to take Zambia down with him. How can one explain his false utterances before cameras? What kind of a president enjoys telling lies every time he appears in public. How passionately can this emperor be wedded to lies?

No doubt, this man assumed power through deception. But should he continue to discharge his powers through lies, calumny and false accusations of others? Be warned; Zambians are now more alert and much smarter than when Kenneth Kaunda left office.

If Michael believes lying, as he has always done, will help serve his dwindling popularity, not this time.

But does this man even have an effective intelligence system? Is Zambia really secure with this kind of foolishness exhibited by a Head of State? Some of this foolishness being displayed is seriously shocking.

Michael wants to put our warm, extremely warm relationship with South Africa on fire. He cares less that it is more criminal to go with stolen US $27, 000 to OR Tambo International Airport than it is for either Dr Mumba or Hichilema carrying a 40-paged document outlining empirical evidence of his government’s human rights abuses.

The opposition traveled to South Africa for purposes of presenting documented evidence of what a brutal regime is rising out of Zambia with the blessings of our present day Idi Amin Dada called Michael. Do you find it wrong? No! There is nothing wrong with that. They are just not like you, Michael, who goes to the United Kingdom or India (foreign soil) for treatment but chose to keep your people guessing. They are more than happy to tell Zambians their whereabouts and the mission even if it means a single day. That’s a mark of leadership.

Instead of facing their well articulated concerns to respond, Michael chooses lies just like he lies that he is in “somewhere in a safe place resting after working so hard” when he is admitted to hospital.

He jumped to accuse our opposition leaders of seeking criminal asylum. What is criminal asylum, anyway? Look at how our President is making a fool out of himself. So, can Zambians assume Michael was seeking “clinic asylum” in the UK or India after the AU summit in Addis Ababa recently?

While Hichilema and Dr Mumba are in court for tramped up charges as president Banda is being courted for investigations on alleged corruption, they have not been convicted of any crime. Therefore, they are not criminals. None of the three political figures have been convicted of any crime in their entire lives.

So, how do they qualify for criminal asylum if they are not criminals? Has Sata got legal advisers? It seems all these bunch of good-for-nothing lawyers are only interested in saying ‘yes sir’ than telling him what he is supposed to utter in public. Or they have left the naked emperor to expose not only his birth-suit but his stupidity to the public as well.

Look at even that former intelligence officer in charge of the Ministry of Information Kennedy Sakeni. Sakeni, instead of responding to the issues in the opposition document, whose details in the next week I will be breaking down for ease of understanding to readers brings in Dickson Jere – president Banda’s former press aide. What a joke of system! No wonder foreigners can come to Zambia and make off with wildlife without any of the security wings noticing. It is because of such characters like Sakeni.

In case Sakeni does not get anything on what is happening in the country, he should go to the only law licencing school where he will find Dickson. Some free notes to Sakeni, he does not need to spend a ngwee – Dickson has not been around president Banda in a while the last 16 months.

Dickson is busy or struggling to earn admission to the bar. If we had an intelligence system worth its sort, Sakeni will not make such unresearched and unfounded statements.

If a minister, the one you expect to brief and defend the President, can be as dull as Sakeni you wonder what sort of State House will be left of Zambia with a Michael who does not care about anything, not even the relationship with our neighbours. How will President Jacob Zuma interpret that asylum nonsense? Why drag his name in issues he has no idea about?

This is not the first time Sata is alarming us in the last few years as President. If we tolerated his alarmist behaviour when in opposition, he is making a mistake that we will continue embracing this foolishness.

As President, he has alarmed us about the gold scam dragging president Banda’s name in it, he alarmed us about the luxury Presidential vehicles, and he alarmed us on President George Bush and so many other incidents. He must be stopped. Michael will regret continuing on this path.

The only hope, anyway, is that someone brave helps tame Michael’s tongue. These lies must stop. If he can quit being the chain smoker he was, he can quit lies. He should not wait for another surgery because the consequences of helping him stop are too ghastly to contemplate.

Zambia does not need an alarmist for President. It is in dire need of a solution oriented President who by now should have responded to the issues raised by the opposition press briefing in South Africa and their 40-paged document to Commonwealth to restore confidence on both the local and international fronts.

Rubbish article. How do you use such insulting language when refering to the Head of State. Who are you anyway? You sound so bitter like H.H. You have in your stupid article failed to appreciate that what these useless idiots did going to ask the international community to impose sanctions on Zambian people was in itself criminal. Where in the world have you seen such nonsense by so called opposition leaders? Will Commonwealth or South Africa vote for them? What has Sata done so wrong that can warant such stupid action by these hopeless cowards? Listen you fool, elections are in 2016 and if the Zambian people are not happy with Sata and PF, they will surely vote them out. Moreover, they were mandated to rule Zambia for a period of 5years so whats all this crap about Sata having failed? Failed to do what you fools? Alarmists are those idiots that went to South Africa to lie about Sata and the PF goverment. Pathetic article. You must be insane and no wonder there is identity of the auther. I agree with you on one point though, that our intelligence doesnt seem to be working the way it should otherwise fools like you should be rotting a jail somewhere by now for insulting the presidency. Idiot.

Meant, “no wonder there is no identity of the author of this crap”
& fools like you should by now be rotting in jail somewhere for insulting the presidency”.
So this site is another branch of ZWD, I did not know. Pathetic hopeless losers. You will never win elections by insulting the presidency or being bitter. In your shallow mindedness, you are now siding with criminals. The same criminals you jst a few months ago spoke so strongly against. You lack morals and with this behaviour, you still have a long way to go before you can win any election in Zambia. Insulting HEMCS wont make you popular. Infact with this kind of behaviour, you are likely to lose more support coz you can not advocate for the suffering of the same people you want to govern by calling for sanctions on the Zambian people. You are all sick in your heads. Shame on you pathetic and unpatriotic so called opposition leaders. Learn from the young man Elias Chipimo. Now thats wisdom.

Just continue eating with them. As for us, we say “good article”.
Time for your master will soon come and you won’t support him anymore.
Why do you pretend that everything is well, when you actually see for yourself?
Enjoy with your Chipimo and Michael!

You say, “no wonder there is no identity of the author of this crap” ?? and where is your identity? The fool is you because you are attacking the author with the same weapon (abuse language) for which you are condemning him/her. Whatever bad words the author might have used were intelligently woven into the substance of the his/her report whereas you go on emoting without substance.

      • njo

Is n’t author Peter Adamu? You should be asking who this man is.

    • Sara

The problem is neither with Zambia Reports nor the Zambian Watchdog but with you because you are a naked moron unable to see what normal people are seeing with regards to Sata’s idiotic behaviour and leadership. This is deducible in your failure to see the name of the author (Peter Adamu) as posted above this very article. You are not only physically blind but intellectually as well.

Learn cikala to appeal more to your intellect than to your emotions or rather balance the two like what Peter Adamu did in this article.

Peter Adamu, well done! I ready this article twice because it is so sweet – it is wave after a wave of frank talk.

  8. Humble

Useless article and it is full of insults how can you say that to a president while he was speaking the truth. You are worhy to be closed for improper publications.

  9. Mulibwanji

Sata is an idiot for a president. I’m not Zambian but Zambians have put themselves in very deep trouble by electing this man. He has been insulting the opposition in Zimbabwe, What if one day they come to power? I have lost respect for Zambians, sorry.

  10. Hit em up

Zambians are so foolish(some) u deserve worse than zimbabwe

  11. Same Dogs

This is a balanced article ‘d say……good work as its the truth…your emotional article says a lot of hw zambians think & how misguided or political immature yo president is…ths is his 1st term in office & the world is saying mmmmmmm the nxt Mugabe.

  12. Sara

Best article on Sata I have ever read on this site. Really spot on – language and argument wise is super – umwah!!

Sata is a liar and immense idiot! With such a large audience on TV, it should be so much harder for this idiot of a president to tell lies and get away with it.

He should know that his words and actions are subject to intense scrutiny by many commentators and observers, all supposedly acting to serve the general public’s desire to know what there is to know about the presidents that they vote for.

And yet, despite all this scrutiny and commentary, and the large audience, Sata lies, and lies persistently.

He is so idiotic that he lies thinking there is a good chance that we will all fail to see through some of the lies.

Indeed what an idiot of a president who lies and keeps on lying, even though the audience knows that he is lying.

Why is this? If we know that Sata is lying, I wonder why up to now we haven’t thrown him out and get some better rather this maggot in a cesspool?

We have an idiot in State House and he will remain one – nothing will change him – nothing!

  13. mweenda montana

Leadership is doing the right thing. Management is diaoing it right.” Those who seek to lead, but fail to manage… are not relevant to their organizations or to their societies. i guess president sata has little if any of these skills.

    good luck zamb

  14. Iyeee...

What we have now is a crap President and a crap Government period. It takes a dull person not to see this.

  15. CNP-4U

I wonder what the South African govt will say about this whole circus..

  16. M.M.

You have left out some of the major alarms – in 2008, he alarmed us that the MMD Government had recruited Zimbabwean soldiers to quell an uprising that he imagined would come about as a result of a dispute in the 2008 presidential elections. As a matter of fact, he also alarmed us that ex-soldiers, numbering 600 plus had been recruited and stationed in Lukulu. By the way, don’t forget the alarm by his own Minister Sichinga about the 3 trillion Kwacha alleged to have been printed and unleashed in rural areas. The list of alarmist statements by HE and his ministers is endless and is cause for immense embarrassment to sobre citizens.

    • Peter Adamu

M.M, thank you very much for the reminder. A second installment in this series will contain what you have just highlighted.

  17. Dr Christine Kaseban

My hubby is a baffon ,to say the least.
