Zambia’s Hope for 3-Bonus Points in New Twist

The world soccer mother body, FIFA, has thrown the bid by Zambia to get three bonus points through the boardroom in a new twists that makes what looked like a strong case for the African champions hazy.

According to a Zambian football website, FIFA have stated that Zambia is not party to the disciplinary proceedings of the case that Sudan fielded an ineligible player against Chipolopolo on June 2, 2012.

Zambia lost the World Cup qualifier to Sudan 2-0 in Khartoum but their opponents used a suspended player and the case is still before FIFA for determination.

Sudan are currently leading Group D of the 2014 Brazil World Cup qualifiers with four points. Zambia and Ghana have three points each and Lesotho is comfortably stuck at the bottom with one point.
