Zanaco Heads to South Africa

Mutale adressing playersZambian champions Zanaco wound up their local preparations on Wednesday night with coach Keagan Mumba naming his team with no surprises as most injury feared players made the list.

Defender Kunda Mushota and skipper Henry Banda beat the fitness test to make the trip.

The team left aboard South African Airways at 07:00 hours today and will be lodged at Garden Court Milpark Hotel in Johannesburg.

Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Isaac Chansa was part of the session and may have once again let off a few tips.

Chansa, who could be heading to sign for a South African side, has been training with the bankers since cutting ties with China second division side Henan Jianye long before his contract expired.

Zanaco, who suffered a 1-0 home defeat, will have a herculean task overcoming an Orlando Pirates side who will be hoping for a better performance at the 94,000 capacity FNB Stadium.

With the game being played in the evening, the bankers had a feel of the silhoutte setting at Nkoloma Stadium to familiarise themselves with the expected circumstances.
