A source close to the prominent lawyer told Zambia Reports that Chanda had obtained some money from unnamed person amounting to K42,000 but had since agreed to settle the matter out of court.
“Yes he got some money from someone and when the matter went to court, they had agreed to settle it out of court and I think Nicholas had even started paying,” the source said.
The source said Nicholas Chanda is being represented by Ellis and Company Lawyer Tresford Chali.
