Fans of Zesco. ©Chris Ricco/BackpagepixKabwe Warriors has made good again on one of their prized assets having loaned forward Idriss Mbombo to Zesco United on a deal reportedly amounting to K17, 000 monthly pay check.

The Congolese born who netted 23 goals last season as the Kabwe side marched back to the Super Division joins to the previous notable business deals that took Roderick Kabwe to Sunset Stadium in 2012 on a K50, 000 outright purchase transaction while the club had reaped from the sale of Emmanuel Mayuka all the way to his having signed for English side Southampton.

Zesco United has confirmed the signing of Mbombo adding to their growing armoury boosted by their generous purse.

The MTN/FAZ league champions have Lusaka Dynamos hotshot Conlyde Luchanga on their ladder although there has yet to be anything conclusive.
