On Monday, one of the benchmarks set by Kaingu for the requirement to have identification before entering campus for all staff and students caused a stir following thorough screening.
UNZA public relations manager Damaseke Chibale said all the conditions had been met including mounting of security cameras in strategic places.
Chibale said that distance learning students will report for their residential school on April 10 with regular students rolling in 14 days later.
The University of Zambia and Copperbelt University were closed by Kaingu on February 3 following riots that be-dogged the two higher learning institutions over meal allowances.
