This development comes hours after the Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA) suspended broadcasting licenses for Muvi TV, Komboni Radio and Radio Itezhi Tezhi.
ZICTA Officers, who were in the company of police officers, stormed the MUVI TV Studios along Nangwenya Road around 18:30hrs and managed to get the broadcasting transmitter around 21hrs.
And MUVI TV Lawyer Milner Katolo of Milner and Paul Legal Practitioners has told journalists shortly after the officers got the transmitter that the company was this afternoon served with a broadcasting suspension letter by the IBA.
Katolo says in the letter, the company has been given a chance for a hearing and that the company will utilize this opportunity to engage the IBA in order to lift the suspension.
He says the matter will be heard on the 14th September, 2016.
