Kalaba Not Keen On NDC Invitation

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Party has extended an olive branch to former Foreign Affairs minister Harry Kalaba to join the party.

And the opposition political party has distanced itself from individuals aligning themselves with Harry Kalaba while claiming to be NDC members.

NDC national youth chairman Charles Kabwita said Kalaba is not a member of the NDC but welcome if he wishes to join.

“The National Democratic Congress NDC wishes to put it on record that Harry Kalaba, the former Foreign Affairs Minister is not our member.

“However, if Mr Kalaba is genuinely interested in joining the NDC, then he is more than welcome. Mr. Kalaba is free to join the NDC as an ordinary member,” Kabwita said.

He has distanced the NDC from a group of individuals that are spearheading the formation of a new political party.

“We advise our party members countrywide not to fall prey to such individuals championing the formation of this party. We also want to advise those handling Mr Kalaba to stop masquerading as NDC members” he added

Kabwita has reassured NDC members that Dr. Chishimba kambwili is still and remains our party consultant.

Harry Kalaba has however indicated that he will not be joining any political party but will consider forming his own.

Bwafyasana. I wonder how many political parties shall be formed, launched and then keep on the shelves. Our leaders should overcome all odds and develope the culture of teamwork. You can’t win the game alone no matter how strong and powerful you maybe. Some names we hear now shall be forgotten soon because they can’t embrace teamwork. Epo ipelele.

Awe bwafya, how many political parties are we going to have in Zambia by twenty twenty one the next voting season? I wish Zambia was a two party participatory Democracy state. Mr Kalaba we know that you are politically ambitious but you can just join one of the already existing political parties of your own choice and you dream will be lived by God. But if you feel like forming your own political party you can go ahead as the constitution of Zambia is clearly allowing you. Epompelele

Nimavuto, formation of new political organisations due to anger or hate for the other is not ideal. This is because the leaders of that formation will concentrate more on talking bad of where they have just left, instead of articulating real and all Zambian issues

Mr Kalaba Just Join Any Of The Existing 2 Part MAKAMAKA NDC, AND UPND, Because Forming Your Part Does Not Make Sense, It’s To Easy To Cast Out Pf If We Have Many Parts.
