Big Spending Buildcon Sign Chisamba Lungu

Zambian international Chisamba Lungu has joined big spending Super Division side Buildcon adding to the growing number of high profile players on the club’s books.

The 2012 Africa Cup winner has ditched Turkish side Alanyespor to link up with 2009 CHAN golden boot winner Given Singuluma and Brian Mwila.

Below is the full statement from Buildcon:

27th February 2018

BUILDCON Football Club has signed on one of Zambia’s best international players – Chisamba Lungu, effective this season.

Lungu, a renowned Zambian international player has joined Buildcon Football Club on a two-year contract. All the signing arrangements have been completed and the player has already relocated to Ndola.

Lungu joins Buildcon FC following the recent acquisition of another Zambia international player, Brian Mwila.

“We continue to realign our team and as we pursue our intentions, we shall continue to look at avenues of delivering good results. We can only deliver good results with a focussed vision by the best team.”

“Our good intentions as Buildcon FC are that, we are determined to scoop the 2018 Zambia league championship and we are focussed in achieving that feat.”

Buildcon FC has also officially acquired Zambia under-20 international – Ngosa Sunzu – on a three-year contract.

As Buildcon FC, we are also concerned about the future of the club and the acquisition of young players is a key ingredient in our player development programme.

We shall continue to acquire and nurture young talent as we establish our player development programme, which is key to the sustainability of Buildcon Football Club.

Zambian’s kwena are good at contradicting people have reasons to make certain decisions in life, it’s not that lungu has gone backwards or his finished how do you know the guy as already invested or maybe it’s that time he fills he should play for a local team in home country to help improve football in zam bia…..

      • Soccer Fan

@mutando, this shows how mediocre we are in Zambia. Lungu has obviously gone backwards. He is not improving by coming back home, you only improve when facing stiff competition.
