Zambia Direct Democracy Movement president Edwin Sakala is seeking PF adoption in Kasenengwa constituency which fell vacant after the demise of Victoria Kalima.
Sakala told journalists in Chipata that he wants to contest the elections whose date had not been set but he has not yet been adopted.
He said he had gone round the constituency and claimed he had a lot of support.
“There is a lot of support and I know I am going to win. It will be a landslide support for PF,” he said.
Sakala said he knew programmes of President Lungu and was in full support of the programmes although he belongs to another political party.
During the funeral of Kalima Sakala told the media that he would contest the by-election and would ask for PF support because he had been working with the ruling party.
