NAMIBIA WELCOMES THE SPEECH ANALYST

We wish to inform you that, our Image Carrier, MIKE SICHULA, a Senior Reporter working for Phoenix FM, has been invited by the University of Namibia Science and Technology to attend and speak at the two day Workshop discussing Media, Conflict and Peace-Building conflict for Southern African Journalists.

The Workshop to be held in Windhoek, Namibia is being co-organized with the African Peace-Building Network of the Social Science Research Network and will run from 18th to 19th July, 2018.

According to the organisers, The Workshop will involve a number of participants including academics, civil society organisations and journalists.

They have stated that all the Countries represented will have a chance to share their experiences on covering conflict and dealing with the thorny issue of safety of journalists in conflict zones.

We would like to thank an International Civil Society organization operating in ZAMBIA and other Southern African Countries for recommending our Image Carrier, MIKE, to the organisers. We have withheld the name of the NGO, that identified MIKE, because we didn’t get permission to make it Public.

It is our belief that our Work of analyzing Public statements is being monitored by Local and International Organizations. We shall not disappoint. We have gone to Namibia to represent ZAMBIA, and that we shall done with pride.

Our Team will definitely share our presentation here for you to Judge whether or not we have done a ‘carried the Zambian Flag higher or demeaned our Nation.

Also at the Workshop representing Zambia is PRIME TV multi Award Winning Journalist, MWAPE KUMWENDA. Her and Mike are the only Two Journalists from Zambia recommended to attend this Workshop that has attracted more than 20 Journalists from all Countries in the Southern African region.
