The Lord will fight for you ,you need only to stand firm and see the Deliverance the Lord will bring

  2. Mr Peace

I believe this has something to do with wreck less speeding and yet motorists are bussy complaining about the lowered speed limits connected to the speed cameras. Please RATSA,be very professional here and don’t be told what to do by motorists. If it means 40km/h,just go ahead. These so called good roads should not renaissance the fatalities in the name of accidents.

The lord help us. Even though they say amano kuli driver some drivers are reckless. They don’t estimate distance n speed of the other vehicle even when they know that the other driver is careless they continue forging ahead. Nevertheless God help us.

    Very Saad

  16. Amano

This is another result of careless driving. I witnessed blind overtaking at curves when I used this road over the weekend. It’s about time RTSA made it law to have headlights on at all times, especially on the highway. Some vehicles are not clearly visible due to their color and time of day.

  52. Spoiler

    When will you get it?
Speed doesn’t kill, human error does.
Even at 40 km/hr an accident can happen.
Instead of coming out with spurious explanations about new security features on driving licences, number plates, insurance discs etc etc which are just revenue generating exercises, RATSA should recruit professional driving examiners or introduce electronic consoles just similar to those used to train pilots and re-train/re-examine all those drivers post 1991 when deregulation and liberalization also creeped into driving tests.

    Peace to their souls.

Thank God i wouldnt i involv my self the axdent i was coming frm kopala!

  58. The Citizen

@spoiler has nailed it well because truly speaking speed alone does not kill but errors arising from poor judgement on our roads. RATSA needs to factor in many suggestions before just blindly putting up these speed limits especially long distances.

  59. MANFIELD maurice

    Too bad!!

  60. Farmer

Better reporting is required here. Details like time and direction in which the bus or truck was going…number to call to check for relatives is what is important!!!!

The government can do justice and help reduce loss of lives via such calamities by quickly mobilizing funds to constructing a dual carriage way from Lusaka to Ndola. The other way is to create a separate lane for heavy duty vehicles on other roads.
