PF Wins Dundumwezi Support

The Patriotic Front strayed into the UPND’s proverbial bedroom in the infamous Dundumwezi Constituency recruiting members as they make inroads into Southern Province.

Provincial chairperson Lawrence Evans was at the head of the mobilization team that also had also former Sports Minister Syacheye Madyenkuku among others.

Over 170 UPND members defected to the PF and were welcomed by Evans and his team.

Evans said the PF was determined to break new grounds in Southern Province where the membership had voted mostly for the opposition.

In the August 2016 general elections, Dundumwezi caught the national eye with the 30, 810 given to the UPND’s Hakainde Hichilema while incumbent Edgar Lungu of the PF only received a measly 252 votes.

Dundumwezi has seen the installation of 97 Solar Hammer Mills and the Zesco power grid has reached the area.

    • Dundumwezi

What has government delivered there? It is only now that zesco is reaching the area which is the largest grower of maize in the country. The place has been neglected for far too long and thanks to their decisive voting which has made government to wake up! The place has not seen government development since Independence! No secondary school is such a vast constituency.

Zambians now fully know that Ruling Parties use national resources and tax payer ‘s money to provide public services. So being selective in providing national development is political suicide.

The best HH can do is to continue with his satanic activies who doesn’t know?
