21 Socialist Party Members Nabbed In Kitwe For Holding Illegal Meeting

Police in Kitwe have arrested 21 opposition Socialist Party members from Chimwemwe constituency for illegally holding a meeting without following the provisions of the public order Act.

The 21, who include Socialist Party Chimwemwe constituency aspiring candidate Steven Chewe, have been released after paying K50 admission of guilty each.

Copperbelt Province police commissioner Charity Katanga has confirmed the development.
