Please magistrates if you keep on adjournments of small useless cases, you will be the culprits who sim not to know what you are doing. That man is an MP not those lawless people you are talking of , if judges don’t show respect for an MP it means lawlessness will be amongst all Zambians, then it will be shame to the country, judiciary, legislature and if this happens then no need to have a leading person otherwise.

Upnd please find tactics on how to deal with these bamuntu becoz their tactic of taking to court each opposition member who becomes more aggressive to challenge them is working… This is not time for going to courts its time to campaign ..mind u Zambians are not like Americans who can vote for candidates even through the media….

If it were UPND you can’t see this lawlessness occuring as if the ruling party isn’t concerned. A ruling party must make sure law and order is maintained otherwise you niso kodibba must be serious if you won’t advise your loved onces you are the same culprits.

The courts have become like playgrounds. Any small matter against opposition is an opportunity to press charges. My God 🙌

Look now Mr Kang’ombe you are now found with a case to answer or put on your defence.
What it means in law is that the prosecution have laid on the table sufficient evidence to show that you committed the cases. In shot you failed to destroy the prosecution eveidence when the prosecution was calling its witnesses. This was the best time to hammer each witness from the Prosecution.
OK you still have a chance to present your case in defence and win but you have the following choices:
1.Give eveidence on Oath (swear by holding the bible) which may carry a lot of weight if credible.
2.Give Unsworn eveidence.(not holding the bible) the court will give its own weigt depending on credible eveidence’
3.Remain silent-this is very dangerous if the Prosecution eveidence is credible and remains unchallenged.
So you are now between a hard place and a rock.If convicted you will go to prison and leave a lot of problems in your home and propety
In future stay away from trouble..
The choice is yours.Take it or leave it.
In future stay out of trouble

Unfortunate mixed with great embarrassment, if this is how this regime is allowing judiciary to act like this to opposition members then its inhuman, judiciary must be independent for the country to work normally. Take for example in pf if a citizen or a police officers does anything wrong to any MP its unacceptable. So people should know how to respect leaders.

All people living in Zambia should respect the law regardless of status.Even under UPND or any other Govt.the law should be respected. The Judiciary in the fairless man to all
